SWEET CHILLI CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS
PREPARATION TIME: 10minutes (plus refrigeration time) COOKING TIME:30minutes
12 chicken drumsticks (1.8kg)
3/4 cup (180ml) sweet chilli sause aka sos thai
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2tbsp fish sauce, kalau takde taknak guna pun boleh..
2tbsp brown sugar
2tbsp finely chopped fresh serai
1. place chicken in large saucepan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil. reduce heat; simmer, covered, about 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked through; drain.
2. meanwhile, combine remain ing ingredients in small bowl.
3. combine chicken and half of the chilli marinade in large bowl, cover;refrigerate 2 hours or overnite.
4. cook undrained chicken, in batches, on heated oiled grill plate (or grill or barbecue), brushing with remaining chilli marinade, until browned all over and heated through.
saya hari tu buat, lupa rebus.. jadi saya grill dlm oven guna api kecil, hasilnya terlalu kering..:).. but my 1st attempt making this lebih berjaya, so, i'll post that picture and newest picture too..and i think guna drumstick give so much juicier better result.. so ..CUBALAH..:)
p/s: I grilled the balance of the meat the next day, pakai api kuat around 180'c, it cooks deliciosly.. tetiba rasa sukati le nak rebus ke idak, but resam sos kan ke senang hangit, that's y recipes suruh rebus kot, takut lak luar dah hangit, dalam blum masak.. ye kawan2..
