PASTA NORMA AND SMOKED SALMON AND DILL FRITTATA

Lama betul rasanya tak update pasal food kat blog ni.
Masa preggie tu hari jadi malas supernova nak masak kan..
balik2 makan makanan simple.. (aku pun lupa aku masak apa tu hari, hahaha)
Namun ni hari adalah masak sikit-sikit.
jengjengjeng, maka terimalah..



PASTA NORMA
ekceli, this is an aubergine pasta dish that is finished with salted ricotta cheese
(achewah, padahal tengok tulis kat mag nih haaa info nya)..
but kita ganti mengikut recipe ini dgn cheese parmesan saja.

apsal norma aku pun tak sure.. kau nak panggil rhoma irama ke, normah damanhuri ke, ke the secret life of norma ke, sukatilah labu..
but as for me, this is the newest pasta dish yg sedap, in fact i am giving it a 5 star treats for it simplicity and it's tastiness.
yet again, itu tekak aku.
this dish is almost a vegetarian dish if not for the last part, when u sprinkle parmesan, and the terung part almost making the sauce having a meaty bite.. ke, ke?..
30mins, serves 2, super easy

aubergine/terung(jgn terung pipit sudah) 1 small, cut into 1cm discs
olive oil
garlic 2 cloves, finely chopped
chilli flakes a large pinch or more, regarding to yer liking
chopped tomatoes 1x400g tin ( i did used whole tomatoes tinned lepas tuh gunting2 aje pakai gunting dapoq)
basil 1/2 a small bunch, shredded ( koyak jo pun bulih)
linguine 200g
parmesan 50g


  • Discs terung tadi korang potong lagi sampai rupa jadi macam matchsticks. Panaskan barang sesudu 2 minyak dlm kuali non-stick, dan goreng terung pada api yg agak tinggi panasnya sehingga lembut dan kekuningan. Angkat, toskan dan season (garam dan pepper).

  • Panaskan lagi sesudu minyak dan masukkan garlic. Garing, masukkan chilli flakes dan tomatoes tin. Simmer untuk 10minit. Masukkan linguine yg telah direbus terlebih dahulu. Masukkan basil dan terung tadi.

  • Hidangkan bersama taburan keju parmesan dan basil segar.




SMOKED SALMON AND DILL FRITTATA
SERVES 2


  • Put 200g sliced potatoes in boiling salted water and cook until tender then drained well. While potatoes boiling, fry 1 small, sliced onion in butter until soft. Whisk 6 eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper. Add the cooked potatoes, sliced onion, 70g sliced smoked salmon and small bunch of chopped dill. Stir.

  • Heat some butter in non-stick pan. Pour the egg mix and leave for a few minutes till the bottom set. If you like you can continue to put the frittata under grill to brown the top of it. Cool and cut into wedges to serve.

Kak N pun masak cream pasta salmon last week. Mak oi mahal nye ikan ittew!! :( seronok tgk frittata. Nanti nak try la.. Frittata reminds me of Movie Morning Glory

kezen - yelah, fes taim beli smoked salmon, adalah gigil membayar, tapi rupanya agak sedap juga.

movie morning glory adalah tidak masuk radar saya. cerita apakah itu?
